Terms of service
Draft – not yet legally reviewed.
Last updated: September 21, 2026
Scope and provider
These terms apply to reserving an address on the waiting list and to using MySecretary.cloud. The provider is Auryan Ltd. [OFFEN: confirm operating company], [OFFEN: registered address].
[OFFEN: is the service offered to businesses only, or to consumers as well? The right of withdrawal and several clauses depend on this]
The service
MySecretary.cloud provides you with a digital assistant who arranges meetings by email with the people you name. The assistant always writes as herself on your behalf, never in your name, and has no access to your inbox. From your calendar, she only reads when you are free or busy.
Every email from the assistant states that it comes from a digital assistant. This statement is mandatory on every plan and cannot be switched off.
Reserving an address on the waiting list
Reserving an address is free and places you under no obligation. The reservation only takes effect once you confirm it via the link in our email; we delete unconfirmed reservations after the period stated in that email.
A confirmed reservation holds the chosen address until the end of the period after launch that we state in our email after confirmation. If no account is opened with the address by then, the reservation lapses and the address becomes available again.
There is no entitlement to the service launching at any particular time.
Founder price
Anyone who reserves and confirms an address before launch receives the founder price promised to them at that time. It applies for as long as the subscription runs without interruption, and lapses if the subscription is cancelled.
Your assistant’s name
You are free to choose your assistant’s name and the part of the address before the @. The following are not allowed:
- names of real people from your own circle or from the circle of your clients
- names of well-known people, and brand names
- terms that pretend to be a function or department, such as “Support”, “Admin” or “Accounts”
- offensive terms
We may block or withdraw names that break these rules. Anyone who believes a name infringes their rights can report it to support@mysecretary.cloud; we review every report. [OFFEN: define the reporting procedure for affected persons]
Each address is assigned only once, in the order in which reservations are made. A named assistant is part of the paid plans; on the free plan, the assistant writes from a shared address.
After cancellation or a switch to the free plan, the name stays reserved for you for a while and then becomes available again. [OFFEN: fix the period until the name is released – currently 90 days in the configuration]
Plans, trial and prices
The plans and what they include are shown on the pricing page. At launch, new users try the Solo plan free of charge and without a payment method; anyone who does not subscribe afterwards continues on the free plan.
Price protection: price changes only apply to newly concluded subscriptions. A running subscription keeps the price at which it was concluded for as long as it runs without interruption. [OFFEN: legal review of the price protection clause]
Billing is handled by Stripe, monthly or yearly. [OFFEN: decide whether payment is in advance or in arrears]
Term and cancellation
A subscription runs for one month or one year, as you choose. [OFFEN: decide on automatic renewal] [OFFEN: decide the notice period and when a cancellation takes effect]
[OFFEN: review the cancellation route and the requirements for a cancellation button]
Your obligations
You use the assistant only to arrange your own meetings. Advertising, mass mailings, or emails to people you are not already in contact with must not be sent through the assistant.
Liability
[OFFEN: liability provisions]
Data protection
How we process data is described in the privacy policy. [OFFEN: provide a standard data processing agreement for customers]
Language, governing law, place of jurisdiction
Support is available in German and English only. [OFFEN: which language version of these terms prevails]
